Eogogics President’s Interview with ExecutiveBiz

ExecutiveBiz: What does your company do?

KK Arora: EogogicsSM provides training, coaching, testing, and certification on cutting-edge wireless technologies, soft skills, and IT. Our curricula incorporate a number of innovations. For example, the technology courses employ a methodology, which we call ThinkGogicsSM, to reveal the big picture that is often lost in the mass of details. Many of our soft-skills courses exploit action-learning techniques to help solve real-life problems in real-time.

Our wireless curriculum is quite comprehensive. It encompasses mobile, fixed, and satellite networks. It covers the emerging 4G and 3G technologies such as WCDMA, UMTS-FDD, UMTS-TDD, HSDPA, cdma2000, 1xEVDO/DV, and 1xRTT. It also covers the 2.5G and 2G technologies such as GPRS, EDGE, GSM, cdmaOne, iDEN™, and TETRA. Our WiMAX Institute (SM) program offers courses on WiMAX and WiFi. We also offer a number of courses that address the special needs of less technical professionals and managers, business strategists, investors, software and equipment developers, and homeland security personnel.

Our soft-skills offerings include courses on professional development, interpersonal communications, team work, management, and leadership. They also include project management courses that closely follow the PMI® certification requirements. We recognize that performance improvement requires more than training. So we offer a portfolio of services that complement our training curricula. These include coaching, human performance improvement studies, corporate management and executive development programs, and meeting facilitation.

ExecutiveBiz: Who are some of your current clients?

KK Arora: Our clients currently include Fortune 500 companies and U.S. Government agencies. We are in the midst of rolling out a new price structure that should bring our services within the reach of organizations of all sizes, large and small.

ExecutiveBiz: What is your background and did it influence your decision to start your own company?

KK Arora: I started the Wireless Institute of LCC some fifteen years back and was its Vice President before heading out to start Eogogics Inc. Along the way, I have come across some exceptionally talented, inspired, and inspiring individuals, and I have tried to make them part of EogogicsSM. Several of us have been associated with high-impact training projects that cost as much as $25,000/day for a roomful of participants. We wanted Eogogics to represent a synthesis of our best ideas.

ExecutiveBiz: What makes your company unique from other companies in your industry?

KK Arora: When we started Eogogics Inc., we did not want to be yet another training company. What sets us apart from our competitors is the combination of deep subject matter expertise, top-notch instructors, extensive pre-class needs analysis and customization, and post-class follow-up – all at affordable, all-inclusive prices.
