Michael J. Carlotta, PMP, who leads our technical management curriculum and consulting practice, is more than a management trainer. His impressive training and consulting career follows and builds on long and varied corporate management experience. To top it off, he holds Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification.
His corporate career included management positions (including project management) with Fortune 100 companies in such diverse areas as manufacturing, production control, new product development, facilities management, and finance.
As an internal consultant with Xerox Corporation, he taught Project Management and Time To Market courses to engineers and managers at the Xerox Engineering Excellence Institute, where he was certified as a subject matter expert . He has also taught postgraduate courses on Total Quality Management and Strategic Management at local colleges.
Mike is a member of the Project Management Institute. In addition to his PMP® certification, he is also certified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®), FIRO™ Element , The Communication Wheel™, TEAM™ Survey, and ABLE®.
Michael’s education includes an MS in Management from Nazareth College (1997), a Certificate Program in Graduate Industrial and Labor Relations Studies from Cornell University (1997), and a BS in Business Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
